MOTORIST arrested for drug-driving told police: “I only had a few lines last night with my missus”.
Brian Andrew Leason, 35, offered the explanation after being pulled over in his Vauxhall Combo van on Pool Lane, Elton, on October 24 last year.
He tested positive for cocaine and was later charged.
Leason, of Lyndale Avenue, Eastham, Wirral, failed to attend Chester Magistrates Court for a hearing today (Monday, March 25) and the case was proven in his absence.
He will be sentenced on April 9.
