A PRISONER at HMP Berwyn in Wrexham has allegedly thrown urine at a prison officer.
The case was dealt with in the absence of the defendant at Mold Crown Court,
Judge Merfyn Hughes QC was told Raymond Brown was now a prisoner at Leicester and had refused to leave his cell when he was due to be transported to court.
The judge entered a not guilty plea on his behalf and fixed a provisional trial date for May 13.
Brown, 29, is charged with administering a noxious substance amid allegations that he threw urine at a prison officer.
Henry Hills, defending, said he would visit the defendant shortly to clarify his instructions.
