SAVE the Family’s ‘Look Good Feel Good’ Health and Beauty event got off to a flying start at Chester Racecourse.
More than 500 people attended the first event in aid of homeless and troubled families.
The day kicked off with an amazing talk from BBC Breakfast’s Louise Minchin and continued throughout the day with seminars, demonstrations and tutorials focused on Health and Beauty.
Many of Cheshire’s elite health and beauty brands and influencers attended the event which hosted Cheshire’s first ‘Young Make-Up Artist of the Year’ competition.
The competition was won by 14-year-old Mia Smith-Roberts (pictured above). Both her and the runners up received awards and hampers donated by Chester’s own international brand Doll Beauty.
The competition was judged by beauty influencers Alisha Heap and Jasmine Archer-Jones.
Save the Family’s new general manager Tracy White said: “The event was a thrilling success for both the charity and all the businesses involved.
"The atmosphere was amazing and everyone had a great time.”
The event was hosted entirely by Save the Family’s amazing volunteer staff with the help of Chester Racecourse company’s Project 1000 volunteers.
It is hoped that this will be a yearly event as it raised almost £3,000 to help homeless and troubled families.
