THE winner of the first Big Brother TV series is to officially open a new store in Ellesmere Port this week.

Local builder and TV personality Craig Phillips will be on hand to officially launch the new branch of Eurocell at Junction 8 Trade and Business Park, Rossfield Road, on Wednesday, February 20.

The trade counter offers tradespeople and DIYers a one-stop-shop in which they can purchase more than 10,000 building products and PVC-U windows in store.

Eurocell offers customers the opportunity to buy in-store and take away, or buy online for collection or direct delivery to site. The new branch also delivers facias, soffits, guttering and other PVC-U solutions to the wider Cheshire area.

The 1,400 sq m premises is in addition to trade counters already situated in Chester, Birkenhead and Huyton, and has created additional jobs in the area.

Barry Williams, regional manager for the Eurocell trade counters, said: “We have always experienced great footfall in our north west branches, particularly around Cheshire, and wanted to make life easier for tradespeople in and around the Ellesmere Port area.

"Having a presence at Junction 8 Trade and Business Park gave us excellent distribution routes for the local and surrounding areas, especially as it’s so close to the M53.

“We look forward to working closely with tradespeople and DIYers in the local area and showing them what Eurocell has to offer.”
