POLICE investigating a robbery in Frodsham are appealing for the public to come forward with information.

Between 8pm and 9pm on Saturday, January 26 two teenage boys, aged 15 and 17, were walking through the alleyway on Ship Street from the Salt Works Playing Fields when they were approached from behind by three males.

The three robbers threatened the two boys who then handed over their property and cash. The suspects then left the area each riding a bike.

Detective Constable Gary Morris, of Chester CID, said: “As part of our investigation we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen three people riding bikes in the Ship Street area between 8pm and 9pm.

“Understandably, the two teenage boys have been left shaken by the incident and I would urge anyone with any information – no matter how small to come and speak to us.”
