FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a bin blaze.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at about 10.30pm on Saturday reporting a wheelie bin blaze in Townfield Lane, Chester.
One fire crew attended from Powey Lane.
Firefighters arrived at the scene to discover the fire had spread to two nearby fence panels. The crew used one hose reel jet to put out the fire.
Earlier that day, just after 12.30pm, two fire crews also attended Irons Lane in Chester, where they found a large bonfire which was well alight.
Firefighters used two hose reel jets to put out the fire before dampening down the area and making sure it was safe.
