M53 motorway junction.
THE M53 motorway continues to be congested near Ellesmere Port following a rush-hour crash this morning.
The motorway police tweeted at around 7am that a collision had taken place between junctions 8 and 9.
The road is now fully open again but motorists were said to be delayed by around an hour.
