A DOG fell in a river near Frodsham and had to be rescued using a raft.
The unfortunate pooch took a tumble down a steep bank into the River Weaver close to Bradley Lane at around 10am on Tuesday (January 15).
One fire engine attended from Frodsham while the tech rescue unit and fire engine were also called to the scene from Lymm.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews from Lymm's tech rescue team used an inflatable raft to rescue the dog and return the animal to their owner."
