The family of a Wirral dad who died in a collision near Malpas have paid tribute to him.
Phillip Edwards, 38, was killed in the incident involving two HGVs and a car on Whitchurch Road, Edge, on the morning of Wednesday, January 9.
His family said: "It is with great sadness that Phillip Edwards passed away on Wednesday following a road traffic collision.
"Phill was a much loved husband, son, dad, brother and uncle and this tragic event will leave a huge hole in our lives.
"We ask that our privacy is respected at this difficult time."
The incident happened at about 6.48am. Mr Edwards, the driver of the Kia Ceed, died at the scene.
