A HUNT is under way to find an intruder who tried to get into a home in Great Boughton.
Police received a call from a man living on Marian Drive at around 11.50am today (Wednesday, January 9).
One resident told The Standard he had seen at least six police cars racing to the scene.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "There has been a report of an intruder trying to get into the address. Officers are now there making a search."
No further details are available at this time. Call police on 101 with any information.
