AN Ellesmere Port mum who has inspired her slimming group to lose nearly an entire ton in just 15 weeks has received an award.
Ebony Edwards, 27, had initially piled on the pounds following the birth of daughters Penelope and Matilda.
But she lost three and a half stone and successfully competed in the Chester Half Marathon last year.
From then Ebony, of Ramsey Road, set up her own Slimming World group at Ellesmere Port Catholic High School last September.
She said: "I have just received an incredible award from Slimming World, I am now a silver consultant!
"I have helped my members at the Catholic High school lose an incredible 149 stone in the 15 weeks I have been with them.
"After having such success I am now reaching out to help even more people achieve their weight loss dreams for 2019."
Ebony is now running the Catholic High School sessions on Wednesdays at 5pm and 7pm, with new classes at Hope Farm Methodist Church on Saturdays at 8am, 10am and noon.
