ARMED police were called to an address in Ellesmere Port on Monday, January 7, amid reports a man had been threatened with a weapon.
Ellesmere Port police officers were joined by the Cheshire and North Wales Armed Policing Alliance at 12.40pm to attend the house on Livingstone Road.
The victim was located safe and well.
A 27-year-old local man was subsequently arrested in relation to the incident and is currently being held on suspicion of affray.
A Cheshire police spokesperson confirmed he was currently being held in police custody where he is assisting officers with their enquiries.
