POLICE in Chester closed a suburban street in the city on Monday, January 7, following reports of an assault.
Shortly before 11.30am, police attended an address in Halton Road, Upton, to arrest two men wanted on suspicion of an assault.
As a precaution, the road was closed briefly between Newhall Road and St James Avenue.
A Cheshire police spokesperson confirmed two men had been detained along with two women.
