A 24-YEAR-old Wirral woman who was found dead on New Year's Day has been named.
Hollie Sheridan-Connis, of Birkenhead, was found dead inside a lakeside property in Llangower, near Bala, North Wales, during the early hours of the morning; officers were called Glan Y Gro Lakeside Suites just before 5.30am.
A home office post mortem examination was carried out on Wednesday. Police are awaiting the result of toxicology reports.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
Posting on Facebook, Hollie's grandmother Mary Connis paid tribute to Holly.
She said: "My gorgeous granddaughter passed away.
"People who know me know for a long time my gorgeous granddaughter lived with me what can I say, Hollie Pops my heart is broken in two.
"No words to say how all our family are heartbroken. Hope you are at peace my lovely granddaughter Nanny Maz. Until we meet again."
A 31-year-old man, who is also from the Merseyside area and who was assisting with police enquiries, has been released under investigation.
Senior Investigating Officer T/Superintendent Neil Harrison of North Wales Police said: “Our thoughts remain with Hollie’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
“Forensic examinations of the scene have been undertaken and we now await the result of toxicology tests.”
