A woman's body was discovered in Eastham on New Year's Day.
Emergency services were called to Eastham Country Park at around 12.30pm on Tuesday, January 1.
The family of the woman, aged in her 40s, have been informed and a file has been passed to the coroner.
Merseyside Police confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
