A YOUNG Liverpool fan from Ellesmere Port is still on cloud nine after she led the team out ahead of their 3-1 victory over Manchester United on Sunday.
Isabella Harrison, aged eight, won a competition to be a mascot at the match at Anfield on December 16.
She went with her grandad and United supporter Robbie Edwards who joked that the experience was bitter-sweet after his team lost.
“It was tough because I’m a United fan!” he told The Standard. “But I was so proud of her. She got a Liverpool kit and went out with the players and shook all their hands.
“It was a fantastic day and she hasn’t stopped talking about it!”
Isabella lives in Whitby and attends The Acorns Primary School in Ellesmere Port.
