POLICE are appealing for information after weapons were taken off the streets of Broughton.
Sgt Neil Hughes, of the South Flintshire policing team said officers confiscated a baton and five thousand volt Taser during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to reports of disorder at 4.12am on a main road in Broughton and police enquiries led them to a local address.
The Sgt told the Leader: "A 37-year-old man is under investigation but there were no reports of any injuries.
"If anyone has seen anything suspicious please contact us.
"It's not a massive problem but it does exist. Stun guns are not uncommon but generally the weapons we come across are knives and homemade weapons like bats."
Anyone with information can contact Tom Matthews on 72896@nthwales.pnn.police.uk.
