Chris Matheson MP officially opened a new entrance into the main building at Vicars Cross United Reformed Church.
The Chester MP cut the ribbon at the event which was held on the same day as a Christmas Fair at the church which is based in Oldfield Drive.
Generous grants from Allchurches Trust, Congregational and General Trust, Mersey Synod URC and WREN, as well as grants from the member's budgets of Cheshire West and Chester councillors, Pamela Hall and Keith Board, made the project possible.
