A STAR guest helped light up the town at this year's Christmas lights switch-on in Neston on Saturday (December 1).
The star featured in a lantern parade with hundreds of handmade lanterns making its way to the Cross, where the lights were switched on by the Mayor of Neston Cllr Pat Kynaston, Rev Alan Dawson, Neston Rotary President Eamon Fergus and the Mayor's guest, Deputy Mayor of Frodsham, Cllr Liam Jones.
Earlier in the day, a Neston Elves ānā Bells event had stages in the Town Hall and Market Square. There were performances from Little Actors Theatre Company, Hip & Harmony's 64 N'Ukes and Community Choir, PAFTA, The Remnants, Modjango, Burton Bell Ringers, Neston Singers, Port Sunlight Brass Band and Bright Lights Theatre Group.
