SCORES of dancers got in line to take part in a nationwide world record attempt on Sunday at Chester's Storyhouse.
A total of 77 tap dancers aged from seven to 65 from Infinity Dance and Theatre School took part in the record bid for the largest number of people tap dancing at one time.
They joined dancers across the UK who were simultaneously trying to beat the record, which currently stands at 7,596 people.
The event, held in The Kitchen at The Storyhouse, was a resounding success, with over £940 being donated to the project in aid of Children in Need.
The school is continuing to collect throughout the week at their classes and is hoping to reach £1,000.
Members of the school are now waiting in anticipation for the results of the adjudication from all of the events held around the country.
