CHESHIRE police are appealing for information after a fire was started deliberately in a children's playground.
Firefighters were called to the play area near the Aldi store in Grange Road, Ellesmere Port, at 5.50pm on Sunday (November 18).
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The crew extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet and were in attendance for around half an hour."
"The fire is believed to have been started deliberately."
