A WREXHAM woman has been charged with robbing a blind man in his 70s.
Angieska Kielar, 31, of Yorke Street, appeared from custody at North East Wales Magistrates Court at Mold.
She is accused of robbing the man of £80 during an incident on Wednesday.
Kielar, who followed today’s proceedings with the aid of a Polish interpreter, was remanded in custody to appear at Mold Crown Court on December 7.
Details of the prosecution case were given by prosecutor Justin Espie who sought a remand in custody.
An application for bail by defence solicitor Gary Harvey was refused.
The defendant herself said she begged the court to give her a chance to prepare her mother for the fact that she would not be there.
Mr Harvey indicated that his client would be pleading guilty when she appeared in the crown court.
