A MAN has been charged with driving without due care and attention and drink driving following a crash in Chester.

The collision, between a car and a van, happened on Lache Lane at 9.18am yesterday (Tuesday, November 6).

A man suffered serious injuries in the collision and is currently in a stable condition in hospital.

The driver of the car, Steven Davies, 46, of Mold Road, Caergwle, has been charged with driving without due care and attention and drink driving and will appear at Chester Magistrates' Court on Friday, November 23.
