BLACON residents can pick up a bargain or sell their unwanted items during a series of table top sales taking place at Blacon Adventure Playground.
The events, which are free to attend, are being held in the new-look activity centre at the playground, in Kipling Road, between 8am and noon on all Sundays in November and December 2.
Avenue Services, which manages Blacon Adventure Playground, funded a £40,000 refurbishment of the activity centre earlier this year, with a new floor and toilets installed and fresh paint throughout.
As well as browsing for bargains, residents can also have their own tables at the sales, at a cost of £8 in advance or £10 on the day, subject to availability.
Sandra Hewitt, Blacon Adventure Playground manager, said: "The activity centre is an important local facility and with its brand new look is the perfect venue for a wide variety of community events."

Avenue Services, which is a not-for-profit organisation, is a joint venture between Sanctuary Group and Cheshire West and Chester Council.
