OVER the last nine months Kevin Bramall has completed four challenging events in order to raise awareness and funds for the Neuro Therapy Centre in Saltney.

The series of tough events included the Wrexham half Marathon, Chester half Marathon, Delamere Commando 10k and a Tough Mudder.

Through online fundraising and sponsorship from friends and family, Kevin has raised an incredible £1,530.

Kevin said: “I was looking to raise as much money as I could to help the Neuro Therapy Centre in Chester.

"My dad was diagnosed a few years ago with Parkinson’s and I discovered this charity while researching the effects of Parkinson’s and felt compelled to see what I could do to help.”

The Neuro Therapy Centre supports nearly 500 people with neurological conditions, including MS, Parkinson’s, MND and ME.

Jane Johnston-Cree, the centre manager, said: “We would like to thank Kevin for his hard work and dedication to the charity.

"It costs £9,500 per week to run the centre and we rely heavily on the fundraising efforts of our supporters to help us raise this amount so we can continue to provide ongoing services and support at the centre.”
