FOLLOWING the success of Chester Market's evening opening to celebrate new traders That Beer Place and Jeffro's Wingz an Tingz there's now going to be more of the same.
Chester Market will be opening on Friday evenings until 8pm from this week.
In addition to all of the market's international food stalls – artisan, American streetfood, Caribbean, Italian, British, Thai, Bistro, deli and Italian pizzeria – there will also be a selection of other stalls staying open including the butchers.
Brian Clarke, Cabinet Member Economic Development and Infrastructure said: "The comments on social media and from our market traders has been so positive, if that continues the market will be the official starting place for the weekend.
"Thanks to the string instrument store Intuneative who are arranging for musicians to join them to add to the party atmosphere.
"If you've not visited the market recently then please come and have a look, there's yet another food stall on its way soon. Don't leave it until the last minute as last orders for food will be 7.30pm to avoid disappointment."
As the Christmas festivities fast approach, Chester Market will also be opening on Thursdays for late night shopping:
Thursday, November 29 – 8am-8pm
Thursday, December 6 – 8am-8pm
Thursday, December 13 – 8am-8pm
