NESTON Town Council will be holding its Halloween Market on Friday, October 26.

On the day there will be competition among the market traders for the best carved pumpkin and decorated stall, and Neston’s mayor will be awarding a prize for the best traders Halloween costume.

Traders will also have Halloween produce and stock.

The council said: "We now have some monthly artisan traders and have welcomed some new weekly traders too. All the more reason to come and visit our wonderfully, spooky market if you dare!"

The regular market takes place every Friday, between 8am and 3pm, in Market Square.
