A 27-YEAR-OLD Frodsham man has appeared in court on a number of charges following an alleged aggravated burglary incident in the town on Sunday, October 14.
Daniel Hayes, 27, of Marsh Lane, has been charged with one count of affray, fraud, possession of a knife, criminal damage, dangerous driving, driving with disqualified and driving without insurance.
The charges relate to and follow an aggravated burglary in Frodsham, where it is alleged an 85-year-old woman was injured, and his subsequent arrest.
Hayes, who was arrested in Hedge Hey, Runcorn on Tuesday, October 16, is currently being investigated in connection with the aggravated burglary, but as yet there have been no charges.
He appeared at Chester Magistrates Court today (Thursday, October 18), along with Charlotte Fisher, 30, of Hedge Hey, Runcorn, who has been charged with fraud.
Both will next appear at Chester Crown Court on Thursday, November 15.
A third man, a 40-year-old from Frodsham, has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and released under investigation.
