CHESTER Market is alive with the flavours of the world!

To celebrate the opening of two new stalls the market remained open into the evening on Friday so customers could enjoy a range of international cuisine in what has fast become one of the city's best locations to eat.

The new arrivals were new Caribbean food stall 'Jeffro's Wingz an Tingz' and 'That Beer Place', a new independent bottle shop and taproom in the market, offering a huge selection of craft beers, real ale, small batch gin, wine and cider to drink in or take home.

Jeffro's Wingz an Tingz will be offering tastes of the Caribbean including wingz, curried mutton with pineapple punch and Guinness punch.

Other stalls offer a real international flavour with an artisan bakers, American streetfood, Italian, British and Thai cuisines, bistro, deli and an authentic Italian pizzeria.

On Facebook, NiceBites posted: "Late night opening was a roaring success. Thankyou to my staff, and the amazing people of Chester for your support."

Councillor Brian Clarke, Cabinet Member, Economic Development and Infrastructure, said: "The market is expecting three more traders next month and has a waiting of people wanting a stall which is great news. The market has welcomed over half a million people this year".
