AN art exhibition devoted to the works of Picasso has opened in Chester.

It is part of the week-long Art Festival being held at St Michael’s Church on the corner of Bridge Street and Pepper Street.

The event also boasts performances, art classes, children’s workshops, talks, seminars, music, dance and drama.

Director Anastasia Tilston said: “We are exhibiting original lithographs and etchings by Pablo Picasso, running art classes and various art events as well as a pop-up art bar at St Michael’s Church. There are a lot of exciting things happening!”

The festival runs until Sunday, October 7, and is open from 11am until late.
