STAR Wars cosplayers were out in Force in Chester to promote the city’s comic con.

Cosplay group Imperial Order 66 UK patrolled the city centre to raise awareness of Chester Comic Con, which takes place at Chester Racecourse on Sunday (September 23).

Darth Vader was there along with Luke Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi and Princess Leia Organa.

They were also collecting for the Woodlands Hospice in Liverpool.

The Rebels, Jedis and Troopers will be in costume again, alongside a whole host of Star Wars props, at the convention.

Now in its third year, Chester Comic Con promises to be bigger and better.

Organisers of the popular event to be held at Chester Racecourse, Mark Jones and Stuart Stevenson said: "We are lucky to have Chester Racecourse as our venue, because of its size we have been expanding year on year and will continue to do so."

With almost 4,000 people attending last year, it promises to be another fantastic event.
