A WOMAN is understood to be in a serious condition after falling off her bike in Chester yesterday evening.
Emergency services confirmed a woman in her 30s was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital at around 7.15pm on Wednesday, September 12.
The Standard understands she is local resident Heather Lannin and is currently on life support.
The accident happened on Hoole Road, reportedly close to the railway bridge.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said there was no suggestion that the casualty had been knocked off her bike. She is said to have fallen and hit her head.
A North West Ambulance Service spokesman said: βAn ambulance took the patient, a female in her 30s, to the Countess of Chester Hospital.β
