A HOOLE pub is inviting people to get quizzical in aid of a worthy cause.
The Faulkner is holding a charity quiz night on Sunday, September 30 in aid of the Miles of Smiles charity.
The event, starting at 8pm, is hosted by regular quizmaster James Davey and there will be a £100 cash prize for the winning team plus spot prizes and a game of stand-up bingo. Entry is £5 per person.
The Faulkner holds a regular quiz on the last Sunday of the month and has been raising money for The Hospice of the Good Shepherd in Backford.
Owner of The Faulkner, Darren Lea, said: ''We wanted to do this one-off quiz for Miles of Smiles, as I heard from my old friend Gary Horton that they were trying to organise a trip to Disneyland in June next year for local sick and severely disabled children, so this is our way of helping the charity to make some dreams come true.''
To book a table for dinner and stay on for the quiz, telephone 01244 328195 or book online at www.thefaulknerchester.co.uk.
