AN ELLESMERE PORT company has captured the moment an 'explosion' happened at the Stanlow Oil Refinery, Ellesmere Port, on Wednesday afternoon.
Helukabel UK, based in Cloister Way, which specialises in the manufacturing and supply of electrical cables, had video footage of the incident at 2.14pm captured via its CCTV cameras.

The footage shows a fireball before a cloud of thick black smoke appears.
Six fire crews were called to the refinery at 2.16pm to help onsite firefighters tackle the incident, believed to be in a manufacturing building within the plant.
All staff have been accounted for and have been evacuated.
Crews have been liaising with the Environment Agency and have been managing the water being used at the scene.
