PUPILS have been celebrated for their sporting achievements and participation over the last year.
Lache Primary School held the annual sports awards at the end of term.
The awards recognise pupils and teams who have performed well as well as those who have shown dedication to take part in activities at the school.
The awards included cups, shields and certificates for children who had won events on the school sports day, won sporting scholarships or participated in sport.
There were also special jumpers for pupils who had made 100 sporting appearances for the school.
The school tweeted: "Fantastic dedication, attitude and leadership skills shown by our first children to receive '100 Sporting Appearances' awards. Very well done, very smart jumpers!"
