Farm fire gets out of control in Alderley Edge
FIREFIGHTERS were called to an uncontrolled burning at a farm in Alderley Edge that had been left unattended.
At around 8.30pm, officers were called to a report of a fire in the open at a farm in Chelford Road, Alderley Edge.
On arrival, the crew from Wilmslow discovered that it was a case of controlled burning that had been left unattended.
They extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet and were in attendance for under an hour.
