MORE than 500 rowers from 20 clubs and 200 different crews took to the River Dee in fine weather for this years Chester Regatta.
Established in 1733, the event on Saturday, June 9 is the oldest regatta in the world. Indeed, records show rowing in Chester has been carried out on the Dee for more than a millennium.
The day of competitive rowing was held with fine sportsmanship and a fantastic atmosphere for competitors and spectators.
