THERE was another member of royalty in Chester – but this one was of the four-legged variety.
Princess Cleopatra was enjoying the limelight as she posed for photographs with dozens of people waiting for the arrival of the Queen and Meghan.
The-seven-year-old Staffie, who was rescued from a shelter by her owner Anthony Welsh, at the age of 13-months, took it all in her stride.
She is used to the spotlight having featured on television news reports from America and Australia at events such as last month’s wedding of Meghan and Prince Harry in Windsor.
Anthony, of Liverpool, says there is no end to Cleo’s talents. She can surf, skateboard, and is one one of only eight dogs in the world that can ride a horse, he says.
But today she took it easy, in her tiara and furs, as she posed for pictures with people of all ages.
