THIS weekend sees the return of the popular Forest Live gigs to Delamere Forest.

Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott, Gary Barlow and Paloma Faith are all performing at the picturesque wooded venue on consecutive nights from Friday, June 8 to Sunday, June 10.

All three nights are now sold out with organisers urging fans not to turn up without a ticket but if you were lucky enough to snap one up here's everything you need to know about the series of concerts.

Concert timings

Concert car parks open at 4pm. The arena opens at 6pm, with live music starting at about 7.30pm and finishing about 10.30pm each night. Exact running times are as follows:

Friday, June 8

Billy Bragg: 7.30pm to 8.30pm

Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott: 9.00pm to 10.40pm

Saturday, June 9

Jason Brock:7.25pm to 7.55pm

Gary Barlow: 8.30pm to 10.30pm

Sunday, June 10

Elli Ingram: 7.50pm to 8.30pm

Paloma Faith: 9.00pm to 10.40pm

Site opening times and parking

Access to Delamere Forest is available from 8am daily, parking charges apply. If you plan to arrive earlier in the day you will need to park in the Whitefield Car Park and then move your car to the concert car parking area after 4pm. Concert parking is available from 4pm and is included in the ticket price.

Seating

Delamere Forest an outdoor venue and seating is not provided or reserved. You are welcome to bring folding picnic chairs or rugs. If a standing area has been designated directly in front of the stage, seating brought into the venue will not be allowed in this area.

Food and drink

A full licensed bar and a variety of hot food outlets are available. Please note bar and food outlets do not accept card payments.You are welcome to bring picnics, but please check the terms and conditions carefully as some items are not permitted in the arena.

The nearest cash point is in Sandiway, 15 minutes drive away.

Trains

The nearest train station is Delamere (Manchester to Chester line),

Taxis

There will be only be pre-booked taxis on site, and there is no taxi rank of cars waiting for passengers so you must book your return taxi journey in advance. The pick up point is located in Whitefield car park located off the B5152.

Will the concert go ahead if it's raining?

Concerts will go ahead regardless of weather, except in circumstances where the conditions at the venue are deemed unsafe or unfeasible to proceed with the event. Umbrellas ate not allowed to be taken into the arena so dress for the outdoors and bring a raincoat and suitable waterproof footwear.
