Cheshire Fire Engine
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a large quantity of dumped waste that had caught fire on the side of a road in Frodsham.
The crew from the town's station were called to a report of a fire on The Ridgeway at 11.50pm yesterday (Tuesday, May 15).
When they arrived, they discovered that a 40 square metre pile of rubbish was on fire.
They used a hosereel to extinguish the blaze.
The crew attended the scene for approximately half an hour.
