THERE are still places left for the ‘Best Ever Blues’ reunion, which takes place on Friday (April 6) at the Swansway Stadium.
The event will celebrate the highest-ever finish by a Chester FC team - namely the one which finished season 1977-78 in fifth position in the old Division Three. Players from the team will reunite to revive memories, have a few laughs, and raise money for Chester FC and the club’s Former Players Association. Players confirmed to attend include Ian Mellor, Grenville Millington, Bob Delgado, Nigel Edwards and Ian Edwards.
Admission is £15 which includes a one-course hot meal. The event kicks off at 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale at the Swansway Stadium, or you can pay on the door but must book your place first for catering purposes by emailing community@chesterfc.com.
