A 72-year-old woman sustained serious injuries after being hit by a car in Chester city centre over the weekend.
Police were called to St Oswald’s Way at 9.38pm on Saturday after reports of a pedestrian being struck by a car.
The injured pensioner was taken to Aintree Hospital where she is currently in a serious but stable condition.
Police are appealing for two men, who were walking on Brook Street at the time of the collision and may have seen it, to come forward and speak to police.
