A rubbish fire near was started deliberately.
Firefighters turned out to a 25 square metre blaze on River Lane, Saltney, shortly before 1.50pm.
The crew from Deeside used a hose reel water jet to extinguish the blaze which had been set on fire on purpose, a North Wales Fire and Rescue spokesman said.
