ALE lovers from across the region descended on Chester for the 29th annual Charity Beer Festival.
Organised by the Chester Grosvenor 76 Round Table, it took place at Christleton Rugby Club over three days.
The event has proved hugely successful in promoting local food and beer, as well as raising stacks of money for charity.
Raffles were held for a number of causes, including the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, Bren Bikes, and Chester PLUS - Peer Led User Support - with top prizes up for grabs.
Festival-goers enjoyed live music as well as sampling more than 120 real ales, ciders and perries.
