A YOUNG entrepreneur has been elected as the new chairman of the Wrexham and Chester branch of the Federation of Small Businesses.
Shaun Roberts, 23, won the backing of members at the recent AGM and will take over the role from James Dick, who has held the role for several years.
James welcomed the new chairman saying he was pleased to be passing on the role to a new generation.
Shaun started his web design agency Creative Catalysts at the age of 19. Today the business provides web design, marketing and search engine optimisation for clients including the Woodland Trust.
Outside of his business interests he is also a Big Ideas Wales role model and was last year named among the ‘35 under 35’ young men to watch in Welsh business.
Shaun said: “I thank my fellow branch members for voting me in.
“When I was elected I was overwhelmed with gratitude and it took some time to sink in, but now I am looking forward to actively working with the local businesses and supporting them as chairman.”
