STEVE BURR wants three wins from Chester’s final five game run-in to keep the Blues in the Conference Premier League.
“Three wins out of five should be enough,” said Burr, whose Blues side continue their fight to stay up at home to already-relegated Hyde on Saturday.
“I reckon nine points would do it but we have to show some level of consistency because last week we let ourselves down.”
Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at 10-man Welling hurt Burr, who insists every one of the 11 players he sends out on Saturday must put in a shift.
“At the moment, we can’t afford afford to carry any player,” added Burr. “We need a complete team performance and I’ve told the players that.
“We didn’t make the most of the opportunity that was handed to us last week and it’s frustrating because we follow a good performance with a bad one.
“And it’s that inconsistency that has put us where we are in the league.
“That’s why we need to put in the kind of performances we did against Halifax, Tamworth away and Dartford. That’s why on Saturday, we need to bounce back.”
