My sister mentioned to me yesterday that Mr Flewitt had died. How very sad. What a fantastic Headteacher he was. He was well respected and held in high regard by all pupils. He had high standards and encouraged all children to work hard, strive for the best and achieve. It doesn’t surprise me to hear that his own children have grown to be very successful. Mr Flewitt left Ellesmere Port Catholic High School when I was in the sixth form and it wasn’t the same after that. Standards and discipline slipped. I hope his family are proud of him, he was an outstanding Headteacher. Thank you for the memories Mr Flewitt.
