CHESTER have been handed a home tie against Spennymoor Town in the FA Cup third qualifying round.
Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley’s men appeared to be heading out of the competition when they trailed Worksop 2-0 with five minutes remaining.
But Danny Livesey scored twice as a makeshift striker to force penalties, where keeper Louis Gray was the hero as Chester won 5-3.
The Blues will now face fellow National League North side Spennymoor at the Deva Stadium on Tuesday, October 13.
Arguably the standout tie of the round sees National League North promotion hopefuls Chorley and York City clash.
Winners will receive £5,625 , with defeated sides taking away £1,875.
