Chester have completed their first transfer of the summer with the the signing of left back Joel Taylor from Kidderminster Harriers.
The 23-year-old joins the Blues on a one-year deal from their National League North rivals.
Taylor, who hails from West Bromwich, has made over 50 appearances for Kidderminster – with two goals to his name.
He arrived at Aggborough in the summer of 2017 following his release from Stoke City, despite just being named their Under-21 Player of the Season at the Potters.
Bernard Morley insisted that Taylor had been a key target for the club as he and fellow joint-manager Anthony seek to assemble a squad capable of delivering promotion next term.
“Joel is somebody we’ve admired for the last couple of seasons", said Morley.
“His energy levels are unbelievable and attacking wise we think he is one of the best about.
"Full-back is a position Johnno and I had identified as an area that needed strengthening in terms of depth and we've looked to address that.
"We’re delighted to get him on board.”
