A LATE goal from Ahmed Obeng saw ten man Leamington strike a blow to Chester's faltering play off chances with the Blues having to settle for a point despite Ben McKenna's first goal for the club. Here's how the players rated.
GRANT SHENTON: Made a couple of decent saves in the first half but let himself down badly for Leamington's equaliser. 4/10
BRADLEY JACKSON: Not as effective going forward as usual but did OK. 6
STEVE HOWSON: Should have got tighter to Ahmed Obeng immediately before he scored. 5
DANNY LIVESEY: As reliable at the back as he always but needs to make the most of headed chances up front. 6
MATTY WATERS: The pick of the defenders and got forward well. Supplied the cross for McKenna's goal. 6
SEAN MCALLISTER: Battled well in midfield but faded in the second half due to lack of match fitness. 5
GARY ROBERTS: Led by example and unlucky not to score with an excellent free lick. 8
BEN MCKENNA: Took his goal brilliantly and was neat and tidy throughout. 7
CRAIG MAHON: Always busy and supplied some decent dead balls. 6
AKWASI ASANTE: His worst game in a Chester shirt and simply didn't look fit to play. 4
ANTHONY DUDLEY: Had to take on a lot due to Asante's disappearing act but played an important part in the goal. 6
SUBSTITUTES:
GEORGE WARING: Didn't make enough of his opportunity as Chester went in search of a second goal. 5
